American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC)

AISC, headquartered in Chicago, is a not-for-profit technical institute and trade association established in 1921 to serve the structural steel design community and construction industry in the United States. AISC’s mission is to make structural steel the material of choice by being the leader in the structural-steel-related technical and market-building activities, including: specification and code development, research, education, technical assistance, quality certification, standardization, and market development. AISC has a long tradition of service to the steel construction industry providing timely and reliable information.

The American Welding Society (AWS)

The American Welding Society was founded in 1919 as a multifaceted, nonprofit organization with a goal to advance the science, technology, and application of welding and related joining disciplines. From factory floor to high rise construction, from military weaponry to home products, AWS continues to lead the way in supporting welding education and technology development to ensure strong, competitive and exciting way of life for all Americans.

The mission of the American Welding Society is to advance the science, technology, and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes, including brazing, and thermal spraying. L&M is a proud Affiliate Company member of the AWS.

Pacific Northwest Steel Fabricators Association (PNSFA)

Pacific Northwest Steel Fabricators Association (PNSFA) encourages the continuing development of the steel industry in the Pacific Northwest, strengthening its infrastructure through the exchange of knowledge and information among its members while also providing exposure to and training from specialists in related fields. Striving to keep steel professionals current and proficient as well as progressive in their approach to their industry is PNSFA's mandate.

The PNSFA membership enjoys the company and benefit of producers of steel plate, structural members, pipe and tubing. We include steel distributors, processors, fabricators, providers of machining services, coatings, fasteners, equipment and others. The Association covers a wide geographic region spanning Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia.

Northwest High Performance Enterprise Consortium (NWHPEC)

NWHPEC represents a cross-section of Oregon and SW Washington businesses interested in the sharing and dissemination of information regarding best practices.

The group’s mission is to provide a forum for education and the exchange of information regarding ways to develop, implement, and improve practices and processes of enterprises in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.
